Lord Rama was born on 9th Day in the Vhaitra month. Lord Ram was born during the Madhyana or the middle of the day according to Hindu mythology. This period is considered to be the most auspicious for Navami Puja. The ecelbration is at it’s during the Mahurat when Lord Ram was born with enchanting of Hare Rama Hare Krishna.

Due to modernization, there is a difference in the time zones causing conflict in actual birth of Lord Rama. Therefore the exact time to celebrate Rama Navami is 11 a.m to 1 p.m.

The festival is celebrated the most in AYodhya which is the birth place of Lord Rama.
According to Hindu mythology, the devotees of Lord Rama are adviced to observe fast between sunrise to sunset also known as 8 Parihar Fasting.
