Vaishakhi Amavasya: The Day to Initiate and Pray for Total Prosperity

Vaishakhi Amavasya is a special day of Baishakh (April/May) is considered an auspicious day for performing spiritual rituals and seeking blessings from the deities.

It is also called Shani Jayanti, in some states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
